01What the Honey Garden is
The Honey Garden is a singular space within the Dom kulture Silosi complex in Belgrade.
Once a neglected plot piled with rubble and rubbish, it is now, thanks to our parent organisation the GAIA movement, a green oasis with thousands of honey plants, beehives and space for events, education and rest.
In the shade of tall trees, on the bank of the Danube and only a kilometre from the city centre, a place has taken shape where nature, people and bees meet.

02Events
The Honey Garden can host corporate events and cocktail receptions, presentations and product launches, panel discussions and talks, team building programmes, Family Day events, workshops and meetings, birthdays and private celebrations, and weddings.
03What the garden holds
It all stands on the same ground, and all of it is used during the programmes.

A timber cabin with beds above live hives. Warmth, sound and the vibration of the colony come up through the openings in the planks.

A whole colony behind glass. Guests look for the queen while the bees carry on with their work.

Pallet seating turned towards the middle. This is where you listen to the beekeeper and look at a frame of comb.

A screen stretched among the trees, and a screening once it gets dark.

Their own bar in the garden. Food and drink for guests and for events come from here.

The huts are painted with folk motifs. On the door there is a hexagon, the same shape the bees build inside.

05Possibilities
Your event does not have to stop at hiring the space. The Honey Garden is part of Silosi Belgrade, so different spaces, features and activities can be tied into a single experience.
Events for up to 250 people amid greenery and the shade of tall trees.
Meetings, workshops and presentations in the open air.
Beekeeping workshops, education and experiences that can give your event a completely different character.
Climbing the Silosi, indoor spaces and extra features we can build into the programme.
From a business meeting or a workshop to lunch, a beekeeping experience or an evening cocktail, we can design the programme as a whole.
06Event organisation
An event in the Honey Garden does not have to mean hiring the space alone. Depending on what you need, we can take on the extra content and help you deliver the whole event in one place.
A jazz or funk band, a DJ or acoustic music: our team can propose and book the performance to fit the concept and the budget of your event. When needed, we also provide the full technical production.
The BeeFe bar stands in the garden itself, with a carefully chosen drinks list served at events. Catering to measure, from cocktail bites and buffet spreads to pass-around service, we organise with our partners at New Balkan Cuisine.
The different zones of the garden are adapted to the concept of the event and tied to the other spaces and activities of the Silosi.
From the space and the technical production to food, music and extra activities: the aim is that you just come, and we prepare everything else together with you.
07For companies

Cocktails, presentations, product launches, business gatherings and celebrations in a completely different setting.

Meet the fascinating world of bees and discover what your team can learn from a community that works through cooperation.

A day for employees and their families, with beekeeping workshops, activities for children, climbing the Silosi, food, drink and time in nature. You just gather the crew, and we can run the whole programme for you.

What can a team learn from the life of a hive? Interactive sessions connect the world of bees with collaboration, communication, responsibility and the way a team works.

From children’s education and protecting pollinators to planting and creating new green spaces. With companies we develop projects that connect employees, nature and the local community, and leave a concrete mark on the city.

Meetings, presentations, workshops and brainstorming sessions in the green surroundings of the Honey Garden. Combine the business part of the day with lunch, a beekeeping experience or other features of the Silosi.

` + `09Friends of the Garden
The Honey Garden began with the idea of giving one part of the city back to nature. In time a community grew around it, people who believe there should be more places like this, and for them we founded the Friends of the Honey Garden.
Members hear about events and activities first, join our actions, and help the garden grow and make more room for nature in the city. Membership is completely free.
